  • 2009

    The Beginning

    Global AgInvesting launches at the Marriott Hotel in New York City, the first investors’ conference focused on the growing market for farmland investment.

  • 2010

    Demand is Overwhelming

    The flagship program doubles in attendee size (and doubles again the following year, becoming the world's most well attended agriculture investment conference), with an expanded focus on investing across the entire value chain, filling a void in the market to understand investing needs to meet the overwhelming growth in global demand.

  • 2013

    International Expansion

    Between 2011 and 2013, Global AgInvesting expands to include landmark events in Europe, Asia and the Middle East to allow current allocators, institutional investors, farm and fund managers to connect around specific regional concerns, including food security, while assessing agriculture as a viable, rapidly growing asset class.

  • 2015

    GAI AgTech Week Launches

    To address the key industry challenges while providing comprehensive outlooks specifically tailored to the agricultural technology sector, AgTech Week launches in San Francisco, with an outpouring of support with more than double the expected attendees.

  • 2016

    Move to Tokyo

    GAI Asia moves to Tokyo, Japan to reach a broader group of institutional and pension fund investors with an interest in global agribusiness and agtech innovations.
