Kirchner Food Fellowship’s Directors Steve Dauphin and Blair Kirchner will lead a panel discussion with current and past Kirchner Food Fellows to discuss cultivating the next generation of AgTech investors. The session will begin with an overview of the importance of developing low-cost, high-value-add capital allocation mechanisms and why we believe the next generation is poised to do that. The Fellows will provide an intimate look at how millennials are looking at the challenge of food security, the investment opportunities and the current Agtech trends.
Each Fellow took part in the Kirchner Food Fellowship program which provided them real world experience in sourcing, selecting, conducting diligence and ultimately making an investment in a sustainable agriculture company. The session will cover numerous aspects of the Agtech investing world from the vantage point of the next generation of capital allocators.
The internationally recognized Kirchner Food Fellowship is an innovative, hands-on impact investment program that harnesses the power of millennials to find, fund and assist promising socially responsible agricultural businesses. Sponsored by the Kirchner Impact Foundation (KIF), a non-profit organization that serves as one of the “returning” arms of Kirchner Group a boutique merchant bank with a focus on the agriculture and food sector. The firm is widely recognized as one of the leading boutique advisors to promising small-mid market Agtech companies and their investors.
