Poultry production continues to grow in Russia. As of July 1, 2012, there were 504.8 million poultry head in the country. Poultry production rose in all districts except one – the Far Eastern Federal District. Poultry prices have also been on the rise due to high demand and high feed costs. Since the beginning of 2012, prices rose 1.1% over the year before.
