Foreign Interest in Manitoba Farmland Drops

As a summary, the article says- In the past ten years foreign investment in Manitoba farmland has decreased from a rate of approximately 50% to approximately 10%.  As land values increase, rental rates have not kept pace discouraging foreign buyers.  Despite this, land values continue to rise.  We believe the conclusions drawn in this article regarding foreign interest in Manitoba are flawed… We’d  buy land there if the Canadian Government would allow it.
