Takuro Kimura has served as Managing Director of the Global Business Development and Investment Group at ORIX Corporation since January of 2015.  Prior to ORIX Corporation, Mr. Kimura held various positions at International Finance Corporation (IFC) on a global basis from 1993 to 2014.  From 2011 to 2014, he served as Global Head, Manufacturing; and from 2008 to 2011 as Manager, Industry Group MENA (Manufacturing, Agribusiness & Services).  From 2006-2008 he was Sector Lead, Plastics and Fibers, Global Manufacturing & Services Dept. and prior to 2006, he held various positions including Representative in Tokyo and Investment Officer in the sectors covering Oil, Gas, Mining & Chemicals, Agribusiness, Services, Financial Sectors.  Mr. Kimura holds an MBA from Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) – Paris, and L.L.B from Kyoto University.  He is fluent in English and French.
