Now is the Time to Consider Farmland Assets in California’s Westlands Water District
January 14, 2021

The recent lifting of the acreage limitation provisions of Reclamation Law has made Westlands’ irrigated farmland more accessible to farmers and investors alike.

Land in the Westlands Water District has historically sold for nearly half of the cost of the Eastside of the Central Valley (which has similar soil composition) presenting a unique investment opportunity. This highly-productivity, lower-cost land also offers two sources of water – surface water and groundwater.
