Water rights, management and use is one of the most critical aspects of agriculture, not only in crop quality and yields, but also in helping to define the underlying value of the farmland itself, and irrigation technology has been a growth enabler for nearly all crops in the past three decades. Investment into the space has also been increasing, with several large M&A transactions at multiple points in the value chain, from manufacturers, to technologies, to distribution channels.
 

This panel will bring together in particular the role that both growth equity and venture capital has played in driving value in the provision of irrigation technology.   Other topics of discussion will include driving ROI to the grower, interconnection with other farm IOT solutions, and new business models.
